Does VPNerve provide VPN servers?
No. VPNerve is not a VPN service provider. It does not provide VPN servers, internet access, or proxy services. You can use your own WireGuard server or any VPN service that supports WireGuard. VPNerve helps you securely manage and coordinate those connections across your devices.
Does VPNerve replace WireGuard?
No. VPNerve works with WireGuard-compatible VPN configurations. Your VPN servers, tunnels, and keys remain yours. VPNerve helps you manage and coordinate them securely across your devices.
Does my traffic pass through VPNerve?
No. VPNerve coordinates your devices, but your encrypted VPN traffic goes directly from your device to the VPN server you configured. We do not route, inspect, log, or store the traffic that flows through your VPN tunnel.
Where is my data stored?
Your VPN configurations are encrypted so they can only be read by your authorized devices. VPNerve stores only the minimum account, device, and connection-state information required to synchronize and coordinate your devices.
Can I use VPNerve with my existing WireGuard configuration?
Yes. VPNerve is designed to work with your existing WireGuard-compatible VPN configurations. You don't need to create a new VPN server or change your current setup.
Can I use multiple devices?
Yes. VPNerve is designed for multi-device use. Add all your devices to the same account and seamlessly move your VPN connection between them without manually reconfiguring each device.
Can the same VPN connection be active on multiple devices at the same time?
No. VPNerve ensures that a given VPN connection can only be active on one authorized device at a time. You can instantly transfer the connection to another device without manually disconnecting and reconnecting. Different VPN connections can, of course, be active on different devices simultaneously.
Which platforms are supported?
VPNerve currently supports macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Apple TV, Android, and Android TV. Support for Windows and Linux is planned.
Why should I use VPNerve instead of WireGuard alone?
WireGuard is an excellent VPN protocol, but it manages each device independently. VPNerve adds secure synchronization, centralized management, and seamless connection handoff across your devices, making it easier to keep your VPN ecosystem organized without changing your existing WireGuard infrastructure.
How much does VPNerve cost?
VPNerve is a subscription product: one monthly or annual plan covers your entire House — every member and device, on every platform. Your first subscription starts with a free trial when the store confirms your eligibility (1 month on the App Store; 30 days on Google Play), and the exact price is shown by your device's store, in your currency, before you confirm. There is no free plan.
Do I pay again on another platform?
No. One subscription covers the House — subscribe on iPhone and use it on Android, on the TV and on the Mac with no second charge. Coverage follows the House, not the device.
How do I cancel? What if I delete my account?
Renewal is automatic and cancellation happens in the store where you subscribed (App Store or Google Play), anytime. Important: deleting your VPNerve account does not cancel the store subscription — cancel it there first, or through your device's subscription management.
